Obituary of Tracie Lynn Fontenot

Tracie Lynn Fontenot June 9, 1969- June 10, 2020 Kinder-Mrs. Tracie L Fontenot, 51, passed away on June 10, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed photography as well as giving her time to her community by serving on Louisiana workforce committee, Jeff Davis Chamber of Commerce board, roastin’ with Rosie BBQ Festival planning committee. She also served on Elton Town Council and volunteering her time with many local civic organizations. Tracie was a devoted A.C.T.S sister and cherished by all of her A.C.T.S sisters and brothers in Christ; she was very involved with the women’s A.C.T.S team through St. Philip Neri Catholic church. Survived by her husband of 14 years, Grady Paul Fontenot of Kinder; daughter Balie Elizabeth Treme of Kinder; Step-daughters, Emily Marie Fontenot, Joley Rae Fontenot both of Kinder; Mother Cynthia Faye Austin and step-father Gregory Alan Austin of Las Vegas, NV; sister Jessica Renea Doescher of Las Vegas, NV; ex-husband Robert Wilton Treme of Elton. Tracie is preceded in death by her father Daniel James Doescher. Mass for Christian burial will be held Saturday June 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, with Father Keith Pellerin officiating. Intermit will follow at Liberty Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday June 12, 2020 from 3 to 9 pm with a vigia at 6:00 PM followed by a rosary and June 13, 2020 from 8 am until the time of the service at Reed Funeral Home.
