Obituary of Elburn Barzare

Elburn "Red" Barzare October 28, 1922 March 11, 2013 Kinder- Mr. Elburn "Red" Barzare, 90, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013. He was lifelong resident of Kinder and he retired from Gifford Hill Gravel Pit Company. Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Virgie Lee Barzare; two sons, John "Buck" Barzare and wife Sarah of Lufkin, TX, Emette Barzare and wife Rena of Kinder; one daughter, Vonita Lafargue and husband Douglas of Westlake; two sister, Vivian Vidrine and Elaine Barzare both of Eunice; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Orize and Nezzie Barzare; two brothers, Houston Barzare and Eldridge Barzare. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 10AM at Reed Funeral Home. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in Green Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 4PM-9PM with a vigil service at 6PM and a rosary will follow.
