Our deepest sympathy at this difficult time. We were very saddened that we were not able to go to the service. I am so glad I got to see him recently. My memories of his hunting and fishing stories were always so entertaining, but the spotted cat Aunt Virgie cooked was delish. I have very happy memories going back to when I was a small child. Rest in peace Uncle Red and I hope you are enjoying seeing your parents and your brothers.
I have fond memories of spending time at the cafe in Indian Village. I can hear the screen door slam and taste the ice cream. We had family gatherings at the camp and walks down to the river. When we'd spend the night at the camp I remember the squeaky bedsprings and being afraid I'd see a spider. We had fresh fish suppers and the men would play cards. When it was cold there would be a fire in the fireplace. I can see the deer trophies on the wall too. I can remember a pig roast too. Thank you Uncle Red for many good times! You were always ready with a funny story too. Sometimes you told one so seriously til the punch line at the very end.
May you rest in peace with ma and pa til we meet again.
