Kinder- Mr. Carl Thigpen, 76, passed away Friday , June 16, 2017 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of LeBlanc and a graduate of Reeves High School. Carl was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife Janell Sonnier Thigpen; two children, Jodie C. Thigpen and wife Christy of Kinder and Michelle Thigpen of Kinder; 5 grandchildren, Maegan Austin, Lauren Abshire, Mackenzie Thigpen, Kory Jay Duplichan, and Montana C. Thigpen; 4 great grandchildren, Amberly Young, Keeghan Abshire, Boston Abshire, and Remi Thigpen.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Reed Funeral Home has been entrusted to care for the family.
