Obituary of Jimmie Darrell Tupper

Jimmie Darrell Tupper September 4, 1937 March 22, 2015 Elton- Mr. Jimmie Darrell Tupper, 77, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was a resident of Elton. Jimmie enjoyed doing carpenter work. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Gertie Tupper; four children, Barbara Burgess of Longville, Brenda Spears of Kinder, Sharon Fontenot of Houston, and Jimmie Tupper Jr. of Pitkin; siblings, Emery Tupper, Grace Estes, Faye Abshire, and Jane Stephens; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Pearl Tupper; son, Billy Tupper. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 10AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Jimmie Tupper Jr. will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow in China Cemetery in Elton. Visitation will begin Tuesday at Reed Funeral Home from 3PM-9PM and will continue Wednesday from 8AM until time of service.
