Obituary of Yvonne Vergie Fruge

Yvonne L. Fruge September 22, 1933 February 3, 2014 Kinder- Yvonne L. Fruge, 81, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015. She was a resident of Kinder. Mrs. Yvonne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She will be missed dearly by those who loved her. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, J.W. “Dub” Fruge; five children, James Fruge and wife Debbie of Lake Charles, Sammie Ortego and husband Mickey of Kinder, Barbara LaFleur and husband Cecil of Kinder, Angie Marcantel and husband Ricky of Kinder, and Linda Stroderd and companion, Aaron Stacy of Kinder; three brothers, Nebert LeJeune, Danny LeJeune, Theophile LaFargue; six sisters, Sharon Fontenot, Beverly Bourgeois, Carolyn Bolt, Tanny LaFleur, Suzanne Powers, and Sheila Jacobs; step sister, Elizabeth LaFleur; 10 grandchildren, Aaron, Stacey, Brandon, Josh, Ashley, Ryan, Seth, Timothy, Lauren, and Kory; 14 great grandchildren, Madison, Trey, Blair, Hayden, Maurion, Zane, Alex, Kinsey, Scarlett, Caleb, Austin, Emma, Easton, and Bentley. Preceded in death by her parents, Nebert and Lenora LeJeune and Bertha and Cletus LaFargue. Funeral service will be held Friday, February 6, 2015 at 10AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Father Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday from 11AM-9PM with a rosary at 6:30PM.
