Obituary of Sue Marcantel

Ora Sue Marcantel November 2, 1939 September 18, 2014 Kinder - Sue Marcantel, 74, of Kinder passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family. She was a faithful supporter of St. Vincent’s Closet. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, David Marcantel and wife Tina of LeBlue; 2 daughters, Audrey Fontenot and husband Forrest of Kinder, Angela and husband Scott Morgan of Glen Rose, TX; daughter-in-law, Debbie Marcantel of Kinder; brother, Odrey Montou and wife Dorothy of Oberlin; sisters, Nita Whitley and husband Mike of Woodville, TX, Jean Gildow and husband Mike of Hillister, TX, Jane Hidalgo of Hillister, TX, Bonita “Nan” Storther and husband Paul of Glenmora, Sherry Baggett of Glenmora; 18 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry John Sr. and Beulah Mae Townson Montou; sons, Adam and Jimmy Marcantel; brothers, Wayne and Harry John “Bugs” Montou. Pallbearers will be Timmy Hall Jr., Joey Hall, Mason Hall, James Hall, Dustin Daigle, Eli Daigle; honorary pallbearers are Tyler Marcantel and John Paul Marcantel. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Kingsfarm United Pentecostal Church. Rev. Steve Haymon and Rev. Ryan Daigle will officiate. Burial will follow in Jessie Johnson Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Visitation will begin Friday at the church from 2 pm until 9 pm and Saturday from 8 am until time of service. Condolences may be sent of the family at www.reedfuneralhomeof kinder.com
