Obituary of Neil Livingston

NEIL RAY LIVINGSTON Neil Ray Livingston was born on October 1, 1928 in Wathena, Kansas to Herman and Rose Livingston. He was the third of seven children. During his growing up years he lived in Kansas, Missouri, Utah and Washington. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran College and received his ThM degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1962. He served in the National Guard 1952-1953. He married Mary Louise Kuntz on September 24, 1955. They were happily married almost 59 years. They served the Lord as missionaries with the Central American Mission, now Camino Global, for 36 years in Honduras. Neil dedicated most of his ministry to theological education for pastors. During his last 12 years in Honduras he was the director of the Central American Bible Institute of Honduras, which subsequently became a seminary. They retired in 1998 and came to live in Kinder, Louisiana. On July 24, 2014, at the age of 85, he left this life and entered the next, eternity in heaven with God. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Livingston; his children Carol and Delwin Bardales, and Doug and Gloria Livingston; grandchildren Benjamin, Natalie and Joshua Bardales, Victor and Mary Andrea Livingston; brother and sister-in-law Paul and Joy Livingston, sister Jean Jansson; many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Monday, July 28, 2014 at Kinder Bible Church at 2PM. Rev. Don Barrett will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Sunday at Reed Funeral Home from 4PM-8PM and will continue Monday at Kinder Bible Church from 11AM until time of service.
