Obituary of Aline Hamilton

Kinder- Funeral service for Mrs. Aline K. Hamilton will be held 10:00AM Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Reed Funeral Home in Kinder. Rev. Mike Paxton and Rev. John R. Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery in Grant under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Mrs. Hamilton, 94, of Sulphur, formerly of Kinder, entered eternal rest on Monday, June 25, 2012. Aline was a member of First Baptist Church. She retired from the United States Postal Service after forty plus years. She was a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stevenson "Bunk" Hamilton; her mother, Bertie Houston and two sisters, Polly Bertrand and Toody Nelson. Those left to morn her loss and cherish her memory include one son, Don Edward Hamilton of Austin, TX; one daughter, Barbara Jo Stacy and her husband Jerry of Sulphur; one sister, Thelma Chapman of Lake Charles; six grandchildren, Tammy Mabe, Chloe Hamilton, Sara Hamilton, Jake Stacy, Drew Stacy, and Seth Stacy; four great grandchildren, Audrey Mabe, Braydon Stacy, Carson Stacy, and Tripp Stacy.
