Obituary of Carolyn Pousson

Carolyn Pousson January 16, 1922 June 14, 2014 Kinder- Carolyn Pousson, 92, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2014. She was a native and resident of Kinder and a graduate of Kinder High School. Ms. Pousson enjoyed playing aggravation, sewing, crocheting, cooking, and cross stitching. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include four children, Ann Ardoin of Woodlawn, Sue Boudreaux of Hornbeck, Randy C. Pousson and wife Louise of Kinder, and Richard Pousson and wife Renee of Fenton; two daughter-in-laws, Phyllis Pousson of Kinder and Cindy Pousson of Woodlawn; 14 siblings, 12 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Alvin J. Pousson Sr.; two sons, Alvin J. Pousson Jr. and Russell G. Pousson; grandson, Chad Randall Pousson. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 10AM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Visitation will begin at Reed Funeral Home from 3PM-9PM with a rosary at 6PM.
