Obituary of Willie Dodd

Willie Jean Dodd September 22, 1944 January 17, 2014 Dry Creek- Mrs. Willie Jean Dodd, 69, passed away Friday, January 17, 2014. She was a resident of Dry Creek. Willie Jean was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Willie Jean is survived by her husband of 48 years, Robert H. Dodd Sr.; five children, Candice Dodd of Baton Rouge, Crystal Spirak of Lone Star, TX, Kelly Dodd of Seabrook, TX, Carmen Davis of Lone Star, TX, and Robert H. Dodd Jr. of Baytown, TX; brother, Jimmy E. Hardy of DeRidder; two sisters, Charlene Barbre of Dry Creek and Gayle Hehl of Ohio; four grandchildren, Christopher Landry of DeRidder, Alexandria Dodd of Baton Rouge, Brittany Landry of Lake Charles, and Madison Leigh Dodd of Dry Creek; two great grandchildren, Landon Landry and Avery Landry. Preceded in death by her parents, William "Bill" and Rillia Hardy. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 11AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. John Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow in Dry Creek cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 11AM-9PM and will continue Wednesday at 8AM until time of service.
