Obituary of Alvin Pousson

Alvin J. Pousson, Jr. April 24, 1944 December 18, 2013 Kinder-Mr. Alvin J. Pousson, Jr., 69, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at his residence. Alvin was a resident of Kinder, retired in 2010 from Trinity Industry after 25 years. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with family, friends and his grandson. He also enjoyed watching football and Nascar Alvin is survived by his wife of 41Years, Phyllis Deshotel Pousson of Kinder; Mother, Carolyn Pousson of Kinder; son, Derrick Pousson and wife Courtney of Kinder; brothers, Randy C. Pousson and wife Louise of Kinder, Richard Pousson and wife Renee of Fenton; sisters Ann Ardoin of Woodlawn, Sue Boudreaux of Leesville; grandson, Camden Keith Pousson. Preceded in death by his son, Chad Randall Pousson; father, Alvin J. Pousson, Sr.; brother, Russell G. Pousson. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20th at 10 am at Reed Funeral Home. Rev. John Nichols will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Thursday at 11 am until 9 pm with a rosary at 6 pm and will continue Friday from 8 am until time of service in Reed Funeral Home of Kinder.
