Obituary of Melissie Battise

Survived by her husband of 33 years, Leonard Battise, her sister, Darlene Dunnehoo and her husband Bill of Elton; two brothers, Bertney Langley and his wife Linda, and Tim Langley both of Elton; four daugters, Kristen Battise Johnson and husband Casey of Kinder, Kayla Battise and companion Mark Guillory of Elton, Kori Battise of Kinder, Kassie Henry and husband Scott of Kinder; one son, Brian Battise of Orange, TX; step-daughter, Denise Sylestine and husband Reginald of Orange, TX; grand children, Kyle and Landon Battise, Kaylyn "Pumpkin" Poncho, Benjamin "Benji" Guillory, Kash Henry, and Kirk, Dustin and Helena Battise; step-grandchildren, Heather, Daniel, Brenden, Isabella, and Juliana; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by her mother, Loris Langley; father, Fred Langley; three brothers, Gary, Floyd, and Bobby James Langley; maternal grandparents, Lounie and Ency Abbott; paternal grandparents, Jackson and Maggie Langley. Funeral service was held Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 2PM at the First Baptist Church in Elton. Rev. Pat Thomas officiated. Burial followed in St. Peters Cemetery. Pallbearers were, Shane Robinson, Brandon Robinson, Kegan Robinson, Josh Celestine, Bill Wier, and Matthew Martel.
