Obituary of Theresa "Jakie" Pembo Gussoni

Theresa “Jakie” Pembo-Gussoni March 2, 1947 February 16, 2022 Oberlin – Theresa “Jakie” Pembo-Gussoni,74, passed away February 16, 2022. She was a woman who enjoyed getting dolled up, getting her hair and nails done, spending time at the casino while having fun. Jakie loved square dancing and traveling. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a tremendous cat lover who enjoyed taking care of all her fur-babies. She found her true love late in life with her late husband Paul then after his passing found compassion and comfort with her companion Chuck. Jakie will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her granddaughter; Ashley Chaisson Sonnier and husband Jimmy along with their children; (great-grandchildren) Rylie and Jameson of Kinder; Scott Chaisson Jr. of Houston, TX., stepson; Dino Palazzolo, siblings; Rick Jones and wife Yevette, Kim Jones, grandchildren; Bambi Careras, Cherie Palazzolo, Marybeth Palazzolo, Jonathan Palazzolo, Cody Palazzolo, many other great grandchildren, family, and other friends. She is preceded in death by her loving daughter; Theresa “Tracy” Chaisson, parents; Jacob F. Jones Jr. and Marie L. Ruiz Jones, stepson; Antonio Palazzolo Jr and sister Wendy Heim. Funeral service will be held at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2PM. Cremation will follow and be entrusted under the direction of Reed Funeral Home.
