Obituary of Rosemary Vaussine

Rosemary Vaussine January 21, 1931 November 9, 2021 Kinder– Rosemary Vaussine, 90, of Kinder, passed away on November 09, 2021, in Lake Arthur, LA. She was a member of St Philip Neri Catholic Church and help start St Vincent’s Closet at the church, worked for Centurytel Phone Company until retirement. She is survived by her four children, Susan Doumite and husband Jerry of Kinder, LA, Colleen Hall Morgan and husband Bobby of Lake Arthur, LA, Raymond Vaussine and wife Jane of Hemphill, TX, and Calvin Vaussine and wife Ruth of Lake Charles, LA,; grandchildren, Camille Tramel and husband William, Jared Chaumont and wife Kathy, Sarah Davis and husband John, Damian Doumite and wife Allison, Judd Chaumont, Joshua Chaumont and wife Sherry, Darin Doumite and wife Amanda, Emily Pelican and husband Toby, Jordan Unkel, Susan Borel and husband Blake, 46 great grandchildren and 3 great -great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Edward Joseph Vaussine; parents, Collin Adrian, and Mary Susan Smith Mc Daniel; brothers, Collin, and Robert McDaniel. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, November 15,2021, at 11 AM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder, LA. Father Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home from 5PM to 8PM, with a vigil followed by a rosary at 6PM. Visitation will continue Monday, November 15, 2021, from 8AM until time of service at Reed Funeral Home.
