Kinder– Frank E. Chambers, 65, of Kinder, passed away on November 7,2021. We give to you Lord, our husband, daddy, Tapaw and friend, a welder by trade and a master of men. His hands were strong and rugged, his heart was made of gold. A fisherman and outdoors man; a story he often told. He shared his love through laughter, a joke or silly prank. A simple Sunday gravy, hog head cheese or red velvet cake. His family filled him with joy and an abundance of pride and his love for God was something he did not ever hide. Take his hand sweet Jesus and wrap him in your grace lead him into Heaven with your love and sweet embrace.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Chambers of Leblanc, LA, son; Chan Chambers and wife D’Ane of Port Allen, LA, daughter; Piper Wright and husband Brandon of LeBlanc, LA, grandchildren; Kristen Ardoin and husband Garreth, Kamryn Chambers and fiancé Anthony Freeman, Tatum and Tucker Wright, great granddaughter; D’Layne Ardoin, siblings; Clara Fontenot and husband Hamon, David Chambers and wife Marjie, Cecil Chambers and wife Rita, Faye Arbie and husband Mitch, Cornell Chambers and wife Leslie, In laws Liz Chambers, Ronnie Carrier and was blessed by a host of nieces and nephews.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Ruth Doucette Chambers, siblings, Gayle Carrier, Donald Chambers and Becky Chambers.
Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 9AM in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder, LA. Father Alan Trouille will officiate. Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at Reed Funeral Home from 4PM to 8PM, with a vigil followed by a rosary at 6PM. Visitation will continue Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 8AM until the time of the service at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder, LA.
