Obituary of Annie M Spears

Annie M. Spears February 27, 1959 February 15, 2021 Kinder – Annie M. Spears, 61, of Kinder passed away February 15, 2021; she loved to shop at a bargain and had fun being the best garage sale-shopaholic known to her family. She enjoyed going to church and reading her bible – she loved Jesus more than the air she took in to her lungs. Annie was known for cooking her infamous fried chicken and buttered biscuits. She never met a stranger & was loved by all who knew her as she loved everyone she met. She loved spending time with her loving children and precious grandbabies. Annie will be missed by everyone she loved. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Rebecca Howell and husband Sam of Desitta, TX, Blanche Braswell of Oberlin, LA, Maggie Baggett of Mittie, LA, Paul Riggs of San Leon, TX, Johnny Braswell of Indian Village, LA, Isreal Spears Sr. and wife Glenda of Kinder, LA., Dorothy Johnson and husband Bruce of Ragley, LA., CJ Solet and wife Jessie of Iowa, LA., 37 grandbabies, 12 great-grandchildren, siblings; Mary Ann Spears and husband Gerald of Kinder, LA, Sally Killian of Heflin, LA, Gloria Jean Cagle of Claxton, TN, Susie Whitaker of Deridder, LA, Lizzie Whitaker of Claxton, TN, June Brister of Deridder, LA, and Elmo Whitaker of Nacogdoches, TX. Annie is preceded in death by her husband; Jesse L. Spears, 1st husband; James Braswell Sr., grandson; Isreal Spears Jr., parents; Charley Sr. and Blanche Cooper Whitaker, siblings; Nancy Whitaker, Anna Rose Bailey, Charlie and Steve Whitaker. Sister-in-law; Bobbie Whitaker and Brother-in-law; Wayne Cagle Funeral will be held Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at 2 PM in Reed Funeral Home, Brother Alfred Gibson and Brother Ricky Kennon will be officiating. Burial will be in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday, February 22, 2021 from 2PM to 10PM and will continue Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 9AM until the time of the service.
