Obituary of Shirley R Martin

Shirley R. Martin October 02, 1931 February 10, 2021 Ragley– Shirley R. Martin, 89, of Ragley, passed away February 10, 2021; she enjoyed cooking, sewing and doing puzzles. Shirley loved to spend time with her grandchildren having slumber parties. Those left to cherish her memory is her granddaughter and longtime caregiver; Sandy Grant and husband Sean of Ragley, LA, daughter; Kay LeBleu and James Allemang of Longville, LA, 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and, 11 great great-grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers; Louie and wife Pat Weaver of San Bernardino, CA, Shelton “Cooter” Weaver of Longville, LA, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 loving years; Bobby E. Martin, son; Glen Martin, parents; John and Evia White Weaver, son in law; Steven LeBleu Sr., grandsons; Steven LeBleu Jr., Malcolm Morgan, 4 great granddaughters, and 4 brothers; Morris, Charles, John Dee and Joe “Duddy” Weaver. Funeral service will be held at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder at 1PM, Friday, February 12, 2021. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home.
