Obituary of Jesse L. Spears

Jesse L. Spears September 29, 1945 February 8, 2021 Kinder – Jesse L. Spears, 75, of Kinder passed away February 08, 2021; he was a man who was strong in his faith and a member of New Life Pentecostal Church Meadow Village in Ragley, LA. , he enjoyed camping and spending time in his garden. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife; Annie Spears, children; Isreal Spears Sr and wife Glenda of Kinder, LA., Dorothy Johnson and husband Bruce of Ragley, LA., CJ Solet and wife Jessie of Iowa, LA., step-daughters; Rebecca Howell and husband Sam of Desitta, TX., Blanche and Maggie Braswell both of Oberlin, LA., brothers; Dan, Paul, Richard, Gerald Spears all of Kinder, LA., Jesse also leaves 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Jesse is preceded in death by his parents; Jesse and Katherine Deron Spears, sister; Mary Burgess, brothers; Leon, Donald Wayne, William “Bill”, and Johnny Spears, grandson; Isreal Spears Jr. Funeral service will be held at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder at 10AM, Thursday, February 11, 2021 with Brother Alfred Gibson & Brother Dustyn Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 5PM to 8PM.
