Obituary of Rosemary Hamilton

Mrs. Rosemary Hamilton February 26, 1927 July 9, 2013 Kinder- Rosemary Hamilton, 86, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born in Port Allen, LA February 26, 1927 to John Cronan and Mary Bacon Cronan and was a lifelong resident of Kinder. Mrs. Hamilton was a faithful member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder where she was a member of Ladies Alter Society, Catholic Daughters, Third Order Franciscans, Come Lord Jesus group, Eucharistic Minister, SECA and volunteered for various church activities. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by 10 children, Cremer Hamilton & wife Kelly of Groves, TX; Agnes Carter & husband John of Liberty TX; Dennis Hamilton & wife Beth of Ringgold, LA; Pat Hamilton and wife Mandy of Moss Lake; Richard Hamilton and wife Jackie of Kinder; Mary Jane Colson and husband Jeff of League City, TX; Margaret Spears of Clute, TX; Danny Hamilton and wife Jennifer of Spring, TX; Mark Hamilton and wife Melissa of Lake Charles; Martha Hamilton and Rock LeBas of Opelousas; sister, Joetta Guillory of Lake Charles; 29 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Hamilton and her son, Michael Joseph Hamilton. Funeral service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 at 10AM at St Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Carlos Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday at Reed Funeral Home from 11AM until 9PM and Saturday from 8AM until time of service.
