Kinder- Joyce M. Monday, 60, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. Joycie Mae Richard Monday was born on August 13, 1960 to late Ben and Edna Richard in Pineville, LA. She was baptized to Christ Praise Worship Center in Kinder, LA., under the leadership of Pastor Rudell Kirklin. On October 16, 2008 she united in holy matrimony to the late Craig Monday.
Forever cherishing her memory will be shared by her daughter; Tameka Soileau and husband David, two grandsons; Trevon and Cyrus, two granddaughters; Breonna and Madisyn, all of Kinder, LA., three brothers; Daniel Richard and wife Faye of Crosby, TX., David Richard and Verna of Clinton, MS., Lionel Richard of Kinder, LA., two sisters Annie Lee Actlis, Lisa Delafoisse and husband Michael of Kinder, LA., sister-in-law Dorothy Richard of Kinder, LA., and Barbara Bouette of Anahuac, TX. Joycie is also leaving her loving, and caring friend; Ron Bowman of Lake Charles, LA. and her God-daughter Ireona Poullard of Eunice, LA., special cousins; Ange and Robert Hearon of Crosby, TX., a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Joycie is preceded in death by her only son; Benjamin Soileau, two brothers; Leroy and Virgil Richard and sister Ceclia Clark. She is now safely home and at peace, resting on her constant faith in her redemptive love of the Lord.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11AM in Reed Funeral Home with Pastor Rudell Kirklin officiating. Burial will be at Botley Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 9AM-11AM until the time of the service.
COVID GUIDELINE:
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Home going services for Joyce Mae Monday. There will be a walk through viewing services. Due to COVID, we are asking all guests to wear mask at all time and to kindly exit after paying their respects to Mrs. Joycie. The funeral services will include immediate family only. Thank you to everyone who has reached out to the family at this time.
