Obituary of Donovan Ray Spears

Donovan R. Spears November 16, 1970 January 6, 2021 Kinder – Donovan R. Spears, 50, passed away January 06, 2021. He was a US Navy veteran who served his county proudly. Donovan enjoyed being outside spending time fishing, riding motorcycles and four wheelers. Those left to cherish his memory are his four loving children; Laykean Lintzen and husband Brandon, Hannah Le Doux and husband Nick, Kassie and Aryan Spears all of Sulphur, LA., dad and stepmother; Daniel & Brenda Spears, three grandchildren; Brylee, Ava Lintzen, and Blair Le Doux, siblings; Curtis Lane Spears and wife Gayla of Edgerly, LA., Valerie Spears Sanders and husband Joshua Ryan Sanders Justin Ray Spears, Ashley Danielle Spears and husband Michael Wayne Pate all of Kinder, LA., nieces and nephews; Robert Barnes, Tristan Meaux Le Doux, Michael Meaux, Zoie Sanders, Bentley and Brooklyn Pate, Rylee, Harper, Tinsley and Piper Spears. Preceded in death by his mom Vera Spears. Funeral service will be held at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder at 10 AM, Saturday, January 9, 2021 with Brother Jimmy White officiating. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5PM to 8PM.
