Obituary of Randall A LaFleur

Randall A. Lafleur August 12, 1948 December 14, 2020 Kinder- Randall A. LaFleur, 72, born August 121, 1948, of Kinder passed away on December 13, 2020. Randall was very well known in the Kinder community, serving as a State Farm agent for 49 years. In his younger days, he was an avid fisher and hunter that enjoyed the outdoors. Randall was a Cajun cook who enjoyed entertaining and cooking for people and seeing the joy that it brought to their faces. He was a businessman who enjoyed sharing stories and mentoring those around him. Both his children and grandchildren were often reminded by him that no matter how hard things get, never give up. Randall will be greatly missed by his family and many dear friends. Those left to cherish his memory include: Cledius “Tanny” Ann LaFleur, his beautiful 3 daughters; Amanda and husband Rushian Bordelon, Candice LaFleur and husband Nicholas Vidrine, Lauren LaFleur; grandchildren, Cameron Vidrine, Cara Vidrine, and Bella Bordelon; sisters, Sharilyn Fontenot, Cindy Brown, and Debbie Seilhan. He will also be cherished by his 3 beloved pets: Poopsie, Streaky, and Chubby. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ethelyn LaFleur of Duralde, Louisiana. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2PM Thursday, December 17, 2020 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church with Father Keith Pellerin officiating. Burial will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Reed Funeral Home, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 5 PM to 8 PM, with a vigil at 6PM follow by a rosary.
