Obituary of Florence Nichols

Florence Nichols September 29, 1929 November 1, 2020 Kinder – Florence Nichols, 91, passed away on November 1, 2020. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Jacqueline “Jackie” Potter and husband James of LeBlanc, LA., Billie Chandler and husband Kenneth of Silsbee, TX. Brother, Lamar Slayter and wife Glenda of Colfax, LA., 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Nichols, sons Johnny Lee and Edmond Joel Dillon, parents Ezra and Winnie Slayter. Graveside services will be held at Hemphill Star Cemetery Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 11 AM. Reverend Carl Gulde will officiate.
