Obituary of Rebecca Chambers

Rebecca “Becky” Chambers July 22, 1963 – October 21, 2020 Kinder- Becky Chambers passed away suddenly on October 21, 2020. Becky was one of nine children born to Ruth and Cecil Chambers. She was a loving Mother and Granny to her children and grandchildren. When Becky wasn’t working caring for others, she enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren; she enjoyed, even more, to spoil her grandchildren with food; their favorite foods and her one and only veggie soup and chicken in a red gravy, but dessert was only allowed AFTER their supper. When Becky was not spoiling her grandchildren, she enjoyed passing her time and the casino. Becky was always one to take care of everyone else with her huge loving heart, putting the needs of others before her own needs She will always be remembered for her undoubting faith in God, her hard work ethic, and never forget her fried chicken and cupcakes. Survivors include her two daughters Amanda Bebee and husband Nick and Jennifer Sayer and husband Scott: and her four grandchildren Tanner Sayer, Tyler Bebee, Kylie Sayer, and Ally Bebee. She also leaves behind five brothers, Don Chambers and wife Liz of Florence, TX, Cecil Chambers and wife Rita of Rogersville, TN, David Chambers and wife Marjie of Lake Charles, Frank Chambers and wife Donna of LeBlanc, Adam Cornell Chambers and wife Leslie of Hammond; three sisters, Gayle Carrier and husband Ronnie of Moss Bluff, Clara Fontenot and husband Hamon of Kinder, Faye Arabie and husband Mitch of Kinder. She is preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Cecil Chambers. Becky will be truly and deeply missed by all that knew her. Services and care have been entrusted to Reed Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 28,2020 at 5 PM until 8 PM with a Rosary at 6 PM at Reed Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Reed Funeral Home Officiated by Father Vaughn on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 10 AM; with burial to follow at Indian Village Cemetery.
