Marie Savant Head March 5, 1934 September 29, 2020 Kinder- Marie Savant Head, 86, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020. She was a resident of Kinder, She was a devoted member of CDA, 3rd order Franciscans She is survived by her five children; Jeannie LeDoux and Husband Estes of Kinder, LA., Dennis Vidrine and wife Becky of Kinder,LA., Phillip Vidrine and wife Dana of Gueydan, LA., Christopher Vidrine and wife Tina of Kinder,LA., Katrina Marie Guerrero and husband Ralph of Houston, TX., 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husbands, Bobby Head and Huey “Chalk” Vidrine; parents Joseph and Edna Ryder Savant; brother, Anderson Savant; sisters, Anna Bell Nobles, Beatrice Malone; and granddaughter, Christel LeDoux. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11am in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Whitney Miller will officiate. Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Visitation will begin Friday, October 2, 2020 at 10am in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Kinder and a Rosary will be recited at 10am. Condolences may be made at reedfuneralhomeofkinder.com
