Obituary of Charles E Pitre

Charles Pitre October 08, 1940 September 19, 2020 Kinder – Charles Pitre, 79, passed away September 19, 2020 at his residence. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Charles enjoyed playing bingo, fishing, watching Nascar and the New Orleans Saints. He also enjoyed time in his garden and loved listening to French Music. As he became a grandfather his best past time was watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow. Those left to cherish his memory are his children; Jenice LaFargue and husband Mark of Kinder, LA., Debra Istre and husband Curtis of Topsy, LA., Charles W. Pitre (Scooter) and wife Crystal of LeBlanc, LA., Rebbeca Burk and husband Clifford of Ragley, LA., Troy Pitre and wife Robyn of Topsy, LA.; his sisters Donnel Muller of Boyce, LA. And Gerdie Pitre of Oberlin, LA.,23 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara Savant Pitre, parents Wesley and Pearl Pitre, brothers, Morris and Wayne Pitre, Sister Vergie Pitre and grandchild Daegun Istre. Funeral Service will be held at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder at 10 am Wednesday, September 23, 2020 with Reverend John Nickels officiating. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery under the direction of Reed Funeral Home. Visitation will begin Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 5pm until 9pm.
