Obituary of Addie J. Marcantel

Addie Jo. Marcantel February 21, 1939 August 27, 2020 Kinder- Addie J. Marcantel,81, of Kinder passed away on August 27, 2020. Addie loved to cook for her family, she enjoyed everyone’s company; especially her children and grandchildren, she was a friend to all no matter the time she knew them; one minute to a lifetime of friendship. She will be greatly missed for her conversation and good cooking. Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Benjamin Marcantel and wife Jeanie of Kinder, LA., Troy Marcantel and wife Lori of Flower Mount, TX., Lorie Griffeths and husband Kenny of Kinder, LA., Tayman Marcantel and her husband Terry of Kinder, LA., Shawn Marcantel and wife GG of Kinder, LA., her sister Claire Rolen of Church Point, LA., a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Caroline Launey, husband Clifford Marcantel and sister Carol Mae Deville. On behalf of the family they would like to thank Allen Parish Community Healthcare and Dr. Ughovwa for the care they provided. A gravesite service will be held at Green Oak Cemetery at 10 am Tuesday September 1, 2020 officiated by Brother Gibson.
