Obituary of Ryan Ortego

Christopher Ryan Ortego November 9th, 1977 – May 31st, 2020 Christopher “Ryan” Ortego, 42, passed away on May 31st, 2020. Ryan as he was known by his friends and family was raised in Kinder and where he raised a family of his own. Ryan loved his family and enjoyed spending his time with his children. He poured the love he had for his family into his craftsmanship of their family home. He had acquired a love and appreciation for carpentry, which he applied in their family home. He enjoyed working in his yard and enjoyed working on his home. He will be missed and always remembered. Those left to cherish the memory of Ryan are his wife Cari Ortego of Kinder, LA, and their two children Molly and Maddox Ortego and Stepson Bailey Bertrand. Parents Donnie and Jane Ortego of Kinder, LA and Sister Julie Buller and husband Brent of Kinder, LA; and in-laws Vannesa Fontenot Burton and husband Danny of McQueeney, TX, Richard Bertrand and Mickie Fontenot Bertrand of LeBlanc, LA. Funeral service for Ryan will be held Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Kinder Bible Church, with Pastor Don Barret officiating. A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 2nd, 2020 from 6- 8 PM and Wednesday, June 3rd, 2020 at 1 PM until the time of the service. Intermit will follow at Green Oak Cemetery in Kinder Cemetery.
