Obituary of Jeanette Duplichan

Jeanette D. Duplichan October 27, 1929 – April 27, 2020 Kinder- Jeanette D. Duplichan passed away peacefully April 27th, 2020. Jeanette was a parishioner of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, a member of the Catholic Daughters as well as belonging to the Weekly Rosary and Bible Group. She served on the Liturgy committee at St Philip Neri for 55 years to enhance worship according to Liturgical Calendar. Jeanette owned and operated her own flower shop for over 55 years, with her love of flowers and gardening she arranged the flowers and plants for St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church until recently. Those left to cherish her memory are her children; Greg Duplichan of Kinder, LA; Renee Duplichan of Kinder, LA; and Louise (Weezy) and husband Johnny LaFleur of Kinder, LA; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Jeanette is preceded in death by her late husband Jack D. Duplichan and her son Ward Paul Fontenot Jr. A private service will be held Wednesday April 29th, 2020 at 11:00 AM in Reed Funeral Home, with Father Keith Pellerin officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Memorial Cemetery. A public visitation will be held Wednesday April 29th, 2020 from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM in Reed Funeral Home.
