John, Emette, and Vonita
It is sad to hear of the passing of your Mother. Your Mom, Virgie, is my first cousin. My Mother was Emily Ardoin Fontenot, Ortere's youngest sister. Isom was my Dad and I have two younger brothers, Earl and Roger. We have many memories of holidays and visits with Virgie and Red. We would often meet at Grandma "Jo's" or at Uncle Ortere's. We spent many Christmas, Easter Paques, and other visits at Uncle Ortere's home in Easton. Your Mother was a very strong and loving person. We were very close to all her siblings and she certainly stood out as the strong one. I know that you'll will miss her dearly but rest assured she influenced many lives. Me and my family were very thankful to be part of her family. It is unfortunate that we have not been able to stay connected to your family as we grew up and moved away from Pine Prairie. I now live in Tallahassee, FL and will not be able to attend the services. I will say a prayer for all of you as you say final wishes to Virgie.
I know that Emily and Isom, my parents, are looking from above as she rests. God Bless all your families.
