Obituary of Gary Fontenot

Kinder- Gary Christopher Fontenot, 61, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013. He was a native and resident of Kinder. Gary was a loving father to his two children and he loved being a grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Nelda Fontenot; two children, Rocky Dane Fontenot and Kimberly Dawn Fontenot both of Kinder; sister, Marsha Fontenot of Kinder; two granddaughters, Emily Vidrine and Maeli Poncho. Preceded in death by his parents, Burk and Rena Fontenot; brother, Russell Fontenot; grandson, Logan Vidrine. Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2013at 5PM at Reed Funeral Home in Kinder. Deacon Roy Nash will officiate. Visitation will begin Saturday from 11AM until time of service. A rosary will be prayed at 4:30PM.
