Sis nesmith was my sunday school teacher in lake station indiana when my family first found the lord. She helped me learn memory verses and books of bible. She was a very kind lady. During a rough time in my teen years when my family left that church I wrote her a letter and she wrote me back and was very kind and told me life is about accepting change. I lost my mom last year and send my deepest condolences to the family.

Rod, Hollie and the Nesmith family,
Rickey and I were very sorry to hear of your mothers passing. As we know, it is very hard to lose a loved one. But, we also know that our ultimate goal in this earthly life is to be with our holy Father for our heavenly life. Our prayers for you and your family.

I ran across some old text messages Sis Debbie sent my dad. And I found years of text after text of encouragement. When he was out of town on business she’d send him video samples of the service he missed. And of course, telling him about the sermons and how awesome her son or husband did. Sis Debbie was so wonderful. I will regret not taking more time to go see her because she was a wonderful encourager. I am now forever grateful of her desire to see people saved by just reading the messages she sent my dad. What a legacy she will leave! I look forward to seeing her again one day.

I loved this lady. She was one of the easiest people to talk to, had a sweet presence, had a good sense of humor, and was such a comfort. I remember she started coming to our church during some of my rough years, and she was a light to me then. Prayers and support for the family from Lebanon!
