Kinder- Gordon Cotton Jr, 39, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Oberlin. Gordon was employed by Coushatta Casino Resort for many years. He was a caring and wise man always ready to help anyone. Gordon was a great problem solver and could fix anything. He was also an avid Razorback fan and enjoyed music. Gordon enjoyed cooking and was a great provider for his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed by many.

Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Jalynn Cotton; four children, Jeremiah Cotton, 16, Jasmin Cotton,14,  Jordan Cotton,9,  and Jude Cotton,4, ; father, Gordon Cotton Sr. and wife Hughann of Waldron, AR; mother, Louise Sawyer of Oberlin; four siblings, Jim Martin and wife Mary of Canada, Joe Martin of Taiwan, Gypsy Hyatt and husband Colby of Tennessee, and Shane Blagg of Oberlin; a host of Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his brother, Travis Wayne Martin; paternal grandparents, Cleason and Norma Cotton; maternal grandparents, Larry and May Schenck.

Funeral service will be Friday, April 5, 2019 at 11AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Pastor Brad Slaten will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery in Elton. Visitation will begin Thursday at Reed Funeral Home from 5PM-10PM and will continue Friday at 8AM until time of service.
