Kinder- Connie Fournet, 66, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was a native and lifelong resident of Kinder. Connie was an avid animal lover and she enjoyed cooking. Her true love was her family, especially her grandchildren. Connie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jack Fournet Jr.; three children, Beau Fournet and wife Nikki of Westlake, Melissa Fournet Savant and husband Evan of Kinder, Greg Fournet of Kinder; three siblings, Harlyn Fontenot and wife Debbie of Oakdale, Clayton Fontenot of Kinder, and Jeffery Fontenot of Kinder; three grandchildren, Ryan Fournet, Olivia Savant, and Hadlee Savant.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Bertha Fontenot.

Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1PM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will follow in Kinder McRill Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder from 5PM-9PM. A vigil service will be held Friday at 6PM and a rosary will follow. Visitation will continue Saturday at 8AM until time of service.
