Obituary of Brian Arabie

Brian Keith Arbie Lake Charles- Brian Keith Arabie, 48, of Lake Charles passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 in the comfort of his home. Mr. Arabie was born in Lamarck, TX and has been a lifelong resident of Lake Charles. He attended LaGrange High School and worked most of his life as an Iron Worker and Carpenter in the Construction Industry. He was an outdoorsman, avid fisherman, enjoying woodworking and cooking for gatherings of family and friends. Mr. Arabie will be most remembered for his love of his family, as a "go to man" and for always offering support to those in need. He leaves to honor his memory, his wife, Phyllis Savant Arabie of Fenton; father, Robert Donald Arabie of Lake Charles; two sons, Beau Arabie of Moss Bluff and Benjamin Arabie of Lake Charles; one daughter, Brylynn Arabie of Fenton; two step-sons, Brandon LaFleur and Garrett Battaglia, both of Kinder; two brothers, Robert D. Arabie, Jr. of Moss Bluff and Mark Arabie of Kinder; two sisters, Pamela Thibodeaux of Lake Charles and Angela Martin of Grand Lake; 3 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Fuselier Arabie. Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2PM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. John Nichols will officiate.
