Kinder- Edna Myrtis Smith, 90, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was a native and resident of Kinder. She enjoyed traveling and camping. Myrtis was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by two children, Lynda Faye Manuel and husband Clayton of Kinder and Danny Smith and Fiancé Colleen of Kinder; 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, Harold Smith.

Funeral service will be Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 10AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Rod Nesmith will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 5PM-9PM and will continue Thursday at 8AM until time of service.
