Kinder- Mrs. Sharon Lee Treme Groves, 63, passed away from a massive heart attack Sunday afternoon, May 20, 2018. She was a native and lifelong resident of Elton. Mrs. Sharon was a member of Family Place Church in Reeves.  She was a RN for 22 years and retired from LA Pigment. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. Mrs. Groves was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  She will be deeply missed by all.

Survivors include her husband of 18 years Larry D. Groves; three children, Brandon Lejeune and wife Penny of Eunice, Sara LeJeune Rozas and husband Philip of Kinder and Amanda Rachelle Welch and husband Marvin of Lake Charles; four brothers, Gerald Treme and wife Marian of Elton, Randy Treme and wife Rhoda of Lake Charles, Clarphy (Pep) Treme of Elton and Robert Treme of Elton; 2 sisters in law, Diane Treme of New Orleans and Tracie Fontenot of Kinder; 7 grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Treme.

Funeral service will be Friday, May 25, 2018 at 10 AM at Reed Funeral Home. Rev. Glenn Ducharme will officiate. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Reed Funeral Home from 5PM-8PM and will continue Friday at 8AM until time of service.
