Kinder-Mr. Ollie John LeJeune Jr. 97, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018. He was a lifelong resident of Basile and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Hernie Mae Granger LeJeune; three sons, Thomas Larry LeJeune and wife Ruby Lafferty LeJeune of Laccasine, Glen James LeJeune and wife Linda Ann Jeans LeJeune of Iowa, and Marc LeJeune of Basile; brother, Lionel Larry LeJeune of Basile; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Indra Christine LeJeune.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Pastor Shane LeJeune will officiate. Burial will follow in Langley Cemetery in Basile. Visitation will begin Friday from 5PM-8PM and will continue Saturday at 8AM until time of service.
