Kinder- Delores C. Holden, 80, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018. She was a native of Hecker and a resident of Indian Village. Ms. Delores was a faithful member of Indian Village Baptist Church where she was a bookkeeper for over 20 years. She enjoyed cooking and reading. She especially loved cooking for her grandchildren. Ms. Delores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She will be deeply missed.

Survivors include two children Dewanna Manuel and husband James of Kinder, Brian Holden and wife Selina of Kinder; brother, Ernest Fontenot and wife Jean of Hackberry; five grandchildren, Jamie Service and husband Carl, Wesley Marcantel, Mitchell Manuel, Seth Holden and wife Melanie, and Jacob Holden.

Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Eurshel Holden and daughter, Kimberly Marcantel.

Funeral service will be Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11AM at Indian Village Baptist Church. Bro. Kevin Willis will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Indian Village Baptist Church from 4PM-9PM and will continue Friday at 8AM until time of service.
