Kinder- Ethel Mae Dauphine, 61, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017. She was a resident of Kinder. Ethel was employed by HISD School Board and she also worked construction.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Cleveland T. Dauphine; three sisters, Nell Arvie of Opelousas, Ethel Marie Jason and husband Gene of Chataignier, Mary Richard and husband Albert of Opelousas.

Preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Rebecca Arvie; sisters, Lucille A. Owens and her husband Lester Owens Sr., and Rose Mary Arvie.

Funeral service will be Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 11AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Bishop Rodney Botley will officiate. Burial will follow in Kinder Cemetery. Visitation will begin Thursday at Reed Funeral Home at 8AM until time of service.
