Kinder- Elizabeth Ann Matt, 57, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017. She was a native of Kinder and a resident of Basile. Elizabeth enjoyed scrapbooking, cooking, and playing bingo. She was especially devoted to her family and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mike Matt; her father, Joseph Gerald Sonnier; four children, Sara Bertrand and husband Denney, Leah Meche and husband Justin, McKenzie Matt and wife Heather, Joseph Matt and wife Ashley; siblings, Gary Sonnier, Jerry Sonnier, Paula Sonnier, and Joey Sonnier.

Preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal Gayle Matt; mother, Vena Sonnier, mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Laura Matt.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2PM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Jimmy White will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will begin Friday from 6PM-10PM and will continue Saturday at 8AM until time of service.
