Kinder- Mr. Ronald Fontenot, 69, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017. He was a native and resident of Kinder. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, member of The Knights of Columbus, and the VFW. Ronald was an Army Veteran serving in Korean War and he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his two children, Ronald “Boo” Fontenot and wife Cindy of Palm-Coast, FL, Shauna Palombo and husband Jason of Sulphur; brother, Murray Fontenot and wife Rena of Indian Village; six grandchildren, Caleb Fontenot and wife Alison, Dominic Fontenot, Logan Fontenot, Noah Fontenot, Christian Palombo, and Madelyn Palombo; great grandson, Abel Fontenot.
Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2PM at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Father Keith Pellerin will officiate. Interment will follow at a later date at Indian Village Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday at Reed Funeral Home from 10AM until time of service with a rosary at 11AM.
