Obituary of Gladys Savant

Gladys F. Savant Kinder- Ms. Gladys F. Savant, 91, passed away November 24, 2012 in Kinder. She was a native and lifelong resident of Kinder. Ms. Savant was dedicated to her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Gladys is survived by sons, Luther J. Savant and wife Gloria of Kinder; Alvin Savant of Kinder; daughters, Vivian G. Bourque and husband Louis of Lafayette, Elda Manuel of Oberlin, Linda Whitaker and husband Danny of Kinder and Cathy Savant Fontenot of Baton Rouge; 11 Grandchildren, 14Great Grandchildren, and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, William J. Savant; Grandson, Paul Savant and one Great Granddaughter, Alexis Morgan. Funeral service will be held at 2PM Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Terry Bushnell will officiate. Burial will follow in Indian Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 26, 2012 from 3PM-9PM and will continue Tuesday from 8AM until time of service.
