Kinder- Dennis Cormier Jr. “D.J.”, 28, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He is now at peace after battling a lengthy Illness. D.J. was a lifelong resident of Kinder.
D.J. lived for today and didn’t worry about tomorrow. Through the pain and suffering he endured, he still found a way to enjoy life and do the things he loved. D.J. enjoyed cooking and learning how to make new and different foods. In his younger years, he loved to hunt, fish, and play baseball. D.J. loved attending Astro games and he especially enjoyed his recent trip to Colorado. He loved spending time with his friends and family. D.J. will be deeply missed by many.
D.J. is survived by his parents, Dennis Sr. and Julee Cormier of Kinder; two sisters, Laura Cormier and Casey Cormier Chaney and husband Steve all of Kinder; grandfather, Morris Courville of Kinder; nieces and nephews, Karson Cormier, Konnor Cormier, Trevyn Chaney, Brinley Chaney, and Sawyer Collins; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by grandparents, Jackie Courville, Elda and Orise Cormier. 
Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 11AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Bro. Mike Paxton will officiate. Burial will follow at Carter Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will begin Monday at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder from 5PM-10PM with a scripture and singing service at 7PM. Visitation will continue Tuesday at 8AM until time of service.
