Oberlin- Mr. Dan L. Daniels, 65, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017. He was a native and lifelong resident of Oberlin. Mr. Dan retired from DOTD and member of Grace Community Church in Kinder.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Helen Daniels; two sons, Steven Barker and wife Susan of Devine, TX, Steven Daniels and wife Dodie of Oakdale; six daughters, Stephanie Fuselier and husband Ricky of Kinder, Shana Stephenson of Kinder, Danielle Daniels of Kinder, DeAnn Daniels of Oberlin, Mitzi Guillory and Brandi  Guillory Ashford both of Mamou; 20 great grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren
Preceded in death by his sister Bridgett and parents, Dan Lee, Sr. and Constance L. Daniels.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Rod Nesmith will officiate. Burial will follow in Green Oak Cemetery. Visitation will begin Tuesday from 5PM-9PM and continue Wednesday from 8AM until time of service.
