Basile- Indra Christine LeJeune, was born on March 15, 1948 to Ollie LeJeune and Hernie Mae Granger LeJeune. She passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 and was a lifelong resident of Basile. Indra was a faithful servant of the Lord and loved attending church. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Gilbert and two granddaughters, DaveLynn Reed and Haley Gilbert of Basile; parents, Ollie and Hernie LeJeune of Basile; three brothers, Thomas Larry LeJeune and wife Ruby, Glen James LeJeune and wife Linda, and Marc LeJeune.
Funeral service will be Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Rev. Joey Reed will officiate. Burial will follow in Langley Cemetery in Basile. Visitation will begin at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder Friday from 5PM-8AM and will continue Saturday from 8AM until time of service.
