Kinder- LouElla Ardoin, 79, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017. She was a native of Oberlin and a resident of Kinder.
LouElla loved spending time with her family and she enjoyed planting plants. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
She is survived by two sons, David Duhon and wife Mary of Basile and Edward Duhon of Eunice; nine grandchildren, Jessica Duhon, Mandy Duhon, Paul Duhon, Robin Duhon Johnson, Stacey Bazinet, Brian Duhon, Andy Duhon, Johnny Reed, and Billy Reed; 19 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her son, Roger Dale Duhon; grandson, Tony Duhon; daughter-in-law, Clara “Twiggy” Duhon, daughter-in-law, Vickie Duhon; parents, Edmond and Hilda Faulk; siblings, 4 brother and 1 sister.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 11AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Deacon Roy Nash will officiate. Burial will follow Oberlin Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday at Reed Funeral Home from 2PM and will remain open all night until time of service. A vigil service will be held Wednesday at Reed Funeral Home at 6PM and a rosary will follow.
