Kinder- Elroy Joseph Johnston, 28, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017. He was a resident of Kinder and a 2007 graduate of Elton High School.
Elroy enjoyed playing video games, laughing and visiting with his friends. He loved his devoted dog, Serge. Elroy was also a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be missed by those who knew and love him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alisha Langley Johnston; father, Fritz Johnston of Jennings and his mother, Maria Kagemann; step-mother, Michelle Johnston of Elton; grandfather, Elroy McBride of Sunset; step-grandmother, Bertha Crochet of Hathaway; two brothers, Michael Johnston and Adam Johnston both of Elton; nephews, Landen and Aiden Johnston.
Preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Johnston; grandmother, Jaenie Rigney; step-grandfather, Elton Crochet.
Memorial service will be Sunday, July 9, 2017 at 6PM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder. Visitation will begin Sunday at 5PM until time of service.
