Kinder- Mr. Richard “Dickie” LaFleur, 63, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 in his home.
 Mr. LaFleur was a native and a lifelong resident of Kinder La. He was employed in the oilfield for many years and loved fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Thomas and her husband Edward of Kinder, two granddaughters; Angelle O’Quinn and Raygan O’Quinn, one grandson Ethan Thomas, and one great grandson Kendon Beeson, all of Kinder. One brother, Gerald LaFleur and wife Penny of Kinder, and two sisters; Marilyn Pelican and husband James of Kinder, Tammy Perkins and husband Johnny of Kirbyville, Tx.
He is preceded in death by his parents John Dolzy Lafleur Jr and Shirley LaFosse LaFleur and one brother Terrel Dewayne“Chip” LaFleur .
Funeral service will be held Thursday June 22, 2017 at 10 AM at Reed Funeral Home of Kinder.  Deacon Nash will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Reed Funeral Home from 5PM-9PM with a Rosary at 6PM,  and will continue Thursday at 9AM until time of service.
